The Trip

Back in August 2009, whilst looking at Nick Sanders' website I noticed that he was advertising a new trip, the Pan American Highway Expedition starting in March 2010. That's the one for me I thought. So, with the help of my other half Jo, I applied.

After a few emails, telephone calls and a meeting with Nick at the Bulldog Bash I was accepted for the trip.
In September my brother Paul and I attended a trip meeting at Dr Caroline Taylor's (the trip doctor) house in London. This was a good chance to meet some of the other people going on the trip. A good selection of bikes turned up - BMW's, Yamaha's, a Triumph and a KTM.

The next meeting in October was a camping weekend at Nick's place in Wales. A good time was had by all, getting to know each other and sharing ideas and tips for the trip.
